This photo was taken on my first visit to Oshkosh
in 1987. The best part was when the owner, Waldon Spillers of Versallies,
Ohio (a fellow Ohioan), asked me help wipe down her tail. It was
love at first sight. The aircraft was sold to Jerry Gabe, of Hollister,
California, in 1995. It is now called "Polar Bear".
