Vultee SNV2/BT-13 Valiant

The USAAC chose the Valiant as its basic trainer in 1939. The U.S. Navy followed in 1940. After mastering the Valiant, students moved to the AT-6 for fighter training or a twin engined advance trainer for multi-engine training.
