This P-51D is a former Nicaraguan AF Mustang (S/N 44-85634).
It was restored at Chino as Big Beautiful Doll in 1992, and purchased
by Mike Henningsen in 2003. It is marked as Col. John Landers’ P-51
while with the 84th FS, 78th FG, 8th USAAF. He scored a total of 14.5
victories with the 8th USAAF.
