Boeing 307
Stratoliner
This very aircraft made the first pressurized revenue
flight for Pan Am on 4 July 1940 from Miami to Latin America. The 307
was based on the Model 299 B-17 and shared the same wing. Later B-17s
used the 307's tail design for improved stability.
