F-86 Sabre

The F-86 was the USAF's first swept-wing fighter. This one bears the colors of Maj. John H. Glenn, Jr. Glenn was one of a handful of U.S. Marine Corps pilots to fly with the U.S. Air Force in Korea. During his USAF tour, he shot down three North Korean MiG-15 jet fighters.
