Tex Hill talks here with P40E owner Dick Hansen. Tex was a triple ace who served with the the American Volunteer Group in WWII. The son of a missionary, he was among the first Americans to see combat in WWII when he volunteered to join the AVG (Flying Tigers) in China in 1941.
David Lee "Tex" Hill died at his home near San Antonio, Texas on October 11, 2007. He was 92.
