Junkers Ju 88D
The pictured aircraft is a Ju 88D-1/Trop (later designated Ju 88D-3), a long-range photographic reconnaissance version modified for tropical use. On 22 July 1943, a defecting Rumanian Air Force pilot, who had become disillusioned with his German Luftwaffe superior officers, flew it to Cyprus.
