As of January 2008, the wings, engine, and landing
gear have been installed, and restoration work continues on the
fuselage. Only 428 were produced, during the last year of WWII,
because of production problems and parts shortages caused by B-29
raids.

This aircraft was donated by the City of San Diego, California,
in 1959 with the cooperation of the San Diego Squadron of the
Air Force Association. Restoration is now complete, and you can

of this site.
