PzKpfw 35(t)
The Skoda LT-35 (Lehký (Light) Tank vzor
(Model) 35) became the main tank of the Czech Army in 1937. The
LT-35 originally had a crew of three: driver, radio operator, and
commander.

When the Germans conquered Czechoslovakia in 1939, the German Army
confiscated between 219 and 244 LT-35s. The Wehrmacht redesignated
their newly acquired LT-35s as Panzerkampfwagen 35(t). The (t) stood
for tschechisch (German: "Czech"). The Germans added a
fourth crew member, who loaded the main gun and operated the turret
machine gun.
