Autocars Sussita
The Sussita was Israel's best-selling car in the late
1950s. It had a reputation as a basic but dependable auto. Sussita
is Aramaic for mare. It was available as an estate car, van or pickup,
and its engine was from the Ford Anglia 105E. It sold briefly in the U.S.
as the Sabra.

The Sussita had a fiberglass body. There are stories of people having
their cars eaten by camels. Apparently they found the fiberglass quite
tasty.
