Bell 212
(UH-1N) Anafa
The Bell 212 entered service in 1975 and replaced the
Bell 205 as the IAF's assault transport helicopter. With two engines,
it offers greater reliability, more lift capability, and better overall
performance than its single engined predecessor.
|

The Anafa has been used to track down terrorists, perform medical evacuations,
exfiltrations, extraction of stranded backpackers, and other rescue operations.
Several are also dedicated to advanced helicopter pilot training.
