Beginning in 1948, Mosquitos were received from a variety of sources. These two assemblies with their RR Merlins are all that remain.

The Mosquito was powered by two Rolls-Royce Merlin 25 twelve-cylinder, liquid-cooled engines each providing 1,620 hp (1,208 kw) at takeoff.
