F-14B Tomcat
The Navy delivered this F-14B to the MAPS Museum
on 4 October 2005. They had not removed its internal M-61A1 20mm
multibarrel gun at the time this photo was taken. I'm sure more
than one person fantasized about 'acquiring' it. The F-14 is a two-place,
all weather, air-superiority fighter.

This aircraft came VF-32 at NAS Oceania, Virginia. It served with
the U.S. Navy from the mid-1980s and saw action in the Persian Gulf
War, Operation Southern Watch, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. |
