Corsair II
The A-7E mounted a 20mm gun and could carry payloads
of up to 15,000 pounds of bombs and missiles. The A-7 series were
light attack aircraft based on the F-8 Crusader. The USAF also purchased
a version of the A-7, designated the A-7D, for Tactical Air Command.

This aircraft is on loan from the National Museum of Naval Aviation
at NAS Pensacola. It was transferred to MAPS from the Intrepid Air-Sea-Space
Museum. |
