This F-86 Sabre (N86FS) was owned and operated by Wyatt Fuller. He was killed while taking off from Hickory Regional Airport on Monday, July 24, 2006, enroute to AirVenture 2006. Canadair F-86E
MK.5 Sabre

This is actually a Canadair F-86 MK.5 Sabre. Canadair received a contract to produce F-86s in 1948. With the Korean War they got a production order of 100 aircraft. Because of the war, Canadair had difficulties obtaining parts and equipment from the USA, so all parts and equipment were procured from Canadian suppliers.
