Boeing B-29
Superfortress
This is the world's only flyable B-29. It was
delivered to the USAAF on 31 July 1945 and was transferred to the
U.S. Navy in October, 1956. Then it rotted at China Lake Naval Weapons
Center, California. The Commemorative Air Force rescued this B-29
from China Lake in 1971.
