V-1 "Buzz Bomb"
The V-1 (Vergeltungs-waffe Eins, or Vengeance Weapon One), was the world's first cruise missile. Powered by a pulsejet, thousands were launched on British and continental European targets from June 1944 to March 1945. Its the original Air Ministry designation was Fieseler Fi 103.
