Cessna T-50
Bamboo Bomber
The Bamboo Bomber wasn't a bomber and had no Bamboo. GIs, who preferred more modern all metal airplanes to the wooden winged T-50, used this term. The Canadians called it Crane. The USAAF called it an AT-8 then AT-17 and later the UC-78.
The Cessna T-50 stared in the TV series Sky King as Songbird.
