M4 Sherman Tank
The Sherman carried a 75mm main gun and three machine
guns, at speeds of 24-29 mph on roads and 15-20 mph cross country. More
Shermans were produced than any other single tank in WWII. When production
ended in June 1945, 49,234 had been built, more than the combined British
and German tank output.

The Sherman was a poor match for any of the German tanks against that
it fought. Even the Panzerkampfwagen IV, the weakest of its opponents,
had a more powerful gun.
