Yakovlev Yak-11

The Yak-11 is an air-cooled, two-seat advanced trainer/liaison aircraft/utility transport developed from the Yak-3 in 1945. Many Yak-11s still operational in the USSR in 1958 were replaced by the Yak-11U, a tricycle-geared variation of the aircraft intended for training jet fighter pilots.
