Planes of Fame

Vought F4U-1A
Corsair

This is oldest flying F4U, and it sports an early-war tricolor camouflage scheme. The aircraft was rescued by Ed Maloney in 1970. The museum has the original braced canopy for this variant but has not fitted it to the aircraft.
