This Mustang is owned and operated by Vintage Wings of Canada (VWC) in Gatineau, Quebec. They have the largest private airworthy vintage aircraft collection in Canada.

This Mustang wears the colors of 442 Squadron, RCAF. Shedding its Spitfire IXs, 442 Squadron was re-equipped with Mustang fighters in March, 1945, and assigned to long-range bomber escort duties for the remainder of WWII.
