This is the first RB-57A manufactured by Martin
(S/N 52-1426). It was the reconnaissance version of the B-57A. The
USAF received 67 RB-57As during 1953 and 1954, and the final active-duty
RB-57A flew in 1958. It was replaced by the McDonnell RF-101A, but
some Camberras flew until May 1971 with the Air National Guard.
The Canberra was designed and built in 1951 by the English Electric
Company and license built in the U.S. by the Glen Martin Aircraft
Company.
