Duomo
Striped marble façade of the Duomo or Cathedral of Santa Maria of the Flowers took 140 years to complete. The first stone was set on 8 September 1296 and the building was consacrated by Pope Eugene IV on 25 March 1436. The facade was completed in 1886.
