Spain converted twelve M-60A1 tanks to bridgelayers in 1996. They removed the turret and adapted a launching and collection system that has a stabilizing dozer blade and 26 m long sliding deck, Dornier Leguan bridge. It is able to support up to Military Load Class 70 vehicles.
