Archaeological Site
This site contains structural remains from the Hellenistic
period (3rd century BCE) to the Roman period (2nd century CE) and, above
these, remains from the Byzantine period (4th century CE). Artifacts discovered
here are kept at the nearby Tel Aviv-Jaffa Antiquities Museum.
|

The archaeological site is covered by a roof that forms the center of
Kedumim square in Old Jaffa. This is the basement of a Jewish family that
lived here in the 3rd century BCE.
