M107 Self-propelled GunThe IDF bought the M107 self-propelled guns during the early 1970s. They were equipped with a long 175mm barrel. M107s took part in the War of Attrition, the Yom Kippur War, and the 'Litany' and 'Peace for Galilee' operations. |
 The IDF uses special ammunition with a range of nearly 40.0 km. The projectile weighs 66.78 kg, but a hydraulic lift at the back of the frame facilitates its loading. |
