Soviet T-34/85
Medium Tank
Love the barrel on this one! This Soviet made tank
was produced during WWII and transferred to Egypt before the Sinai
Campaign (1956) and to Syria before the Six Day War (1967). Several
were captured by the IDF and briefly used by the armored forces.

The T-34 went into series production in September of 1940 with a 75mm
gun. Later, the T-34/85 received an 85mm main gun and better armor
to counter the German Panther and Tiger tanks. It was faster and more
heavily armored than its German counterparts. |
