Main Battle Tank
The IDF caprured large numbers of Soviet made T-54Cs
from the Syrian and Egyptian Armies during the Six Day War (1967) and
adapted them for IDF needs. These tanks kept their original 100mm barrels
but received new laser rangefinders, improved fire detection and suppression
systems, and ballistic computers.
