Renault R-35 Light Tank
The Syrians used the French Renault R-35 in 1948.
Two were captured during a Syrian attack on the southern shore of
the Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinnerit) on 21 May 1948.

The R-35 became France's standard infantry tank in April of 1935.
During WWII, the Germans captured large numbers of them, removed the
turrets, and used them for artillery tractors and ammunition carriers.
