M60A1 Blazer
Magach 6
The M60A1/Magach 6 (Merkavot Giborei Hamilchama - Chariots
of the War Heroes) entered service in the 1970s and became the mainstay
of the Israeli Armored Corps. The Magach 6 upgrade for the M60, M60A1
and M60A3 integrates Blazer reactive armor, a thermal sleeved 105mm gun,
and other improvements.

destroying, or at least deflecting the incoming projectile, which would
otherwise penetrate the tank's armor. |
