JSU-152 Self
Propelled Gun
The JSU-152 heavy assault gun was used for breaching
fortified obstacles and in built-up areas. It is based on the Stalin tank,
with the turret replaced by a superstructure and 152mm ML-20S big bore
gun. This one was captured in the Sinai in 1967.

The JSU-152's main gun had only average armor penetration because of its
low muzzle velocity and the lack of armor piercing ammunition. |
