BTR-40 APC

The BTR-40 is a 4-wheel drive vehicle built on a lengthened and strengthened GAZ-63 chassis. It entered Soviet service in 1950 and was used as an APC and command and reconnaissance vehicle. The Egyptian, Syrian, and Iraqi armies were all equipped with wheeled APCs of this type.
