The Latrun fortress features two towers that give a 360-degree field
of view of the surrounding terrain. Narrow slits allowed defenders
to fire on the enemy without being exposed.

The Latrun fortress stands as a memorial to the the bloody struggle that took place for this crucial point fifty years ago during the War of Independence. The building is now a museum, containing an audiovisual hall, model displays, and exhibits.
