USS Hornet CV-12The USS Hornet Museum is located at the Alameda Naval Air Station, in Alameda, California. This was the eighth HORNET to serve in the U.S. Navy and was commisioned in 1943. Her aircraft destroyed 1,410 Japanese aircraft, and 10 of her pilots attained "Ace in a Day" status. |
