San Diego Zoo
These rainbow lorikeets are part of the Lorikeet Landing exhibit at the San Diego Zoo. Visitors get the chance to feed the birds a liquid food mixture from cups. In the wild, the lorikeets extract nectar and pollen from flowers with specially adapted tongues.
