ALCO S-2

ALCO built this 1,000 horsepower S-2 switcher diesel locomotive in 1948. The S-2 only differs from the S-4 in the trucks used. The S-2 used ALCO's own Blunt trucks, and the S-4 used standard AAR type A switcher trucks. There is also a slight deference in the cab configuration.
