Armored Car
This armored car served with the 34th battalion of the
3rd "Alexandroni" brigade during the War of Independence. It
was used in the battles at Tantura, Kakoon, Kfar Saba, Rosh Haayin, Camp
22 near Beit Lid, Igzim, and Jabba. Armored cars like this supported the
infantry.

Improvised armoured cars and trucks were used extensively prior to and
during the War of Independence. Most early Israeli models had firing ports
or hatches but few had turrets or permanent weapons (limitations imposed
by British restrictions). Arab models, and some later Israeli models,
had turrets.
